Strydom and Associates Land Surveyors is a highly experienced surveying firm capable of handling everything from small beacon relocations to large scale LiDAR surveys covering tens of thousands of hectares.
Founded in 1995 in Windhoek by Herman Strydom, the company has grown from a small hands on team into one of the most capable and technologically advanced land surveying firms in the region. With over 30 years of real world field experience, we have quite literally done the hard yards across Namibia and beyond.
Our journey began with traditional surveying using total stations, working on projects across the country and learning the land one job at a time. As technology evolved, so did we. We adopted GNSS, moved into photogrammetry, expanded into aerial surveys, and now operate advanced LiDAR and terrestrial laser scanning systems. Most recently, we have added bathymetric surveying to our capabilities. Throughout this growth, we have never stepped away from the fundamentals. Farm surveys, boundary work, and ground based surveying remain just as important to us as the latest technology.
What sets us apart is our ability to combine deep traditional surveying knowledge with modern tools. We stay at the forefront of technology, while never shying away from challenging field work where experience matters more than equipment. Our team brings expertise across a wide range of sectors, allowing us to adapt quickly and deliver reliable results in complex environments.
Our philosophy is simple. Work efficiently. Deliver the best possible data. Make sure our clients can trust the results. We focus on clarity, accuracy, and practical outcomes, without unnecessary complexity or shortcuts.
Based in Windhoek, we operate across Southern Africa and have completed projects as far north as Northern Africa. Our clients include government departments, engineering firms, mining companies, developers, and private clients. No matter the size or scope of the project, the same level of care and professionalism applies.
At Strydom and Associates, experience is not just a number. It is decades of lessons learned in the field, combined with modern technology and a team that knows how to use it properly.
